Calgary Co-op Home Health Care Limited is a wholly-owned subsidiary of the Calgary Co-operative Association Limited. Calgary Co-op Home Health Care offers a variety of home health care medical aids and equipment for use in the home. Products include motorized wheelchairs, stair and scooter lifts, medical beds, medical equipment that can be installed in the home, post-surgical and sports injury supplies, post-surgical adaptive clothing, diagnostic equipment such as blood pressure monitors, newborn care equipment, and other medical-related home health care items.
Calgary Co-op Home Health Care clients who are also members of Calgary Co-op will be able to enjoy all the benefits of membership on the purchases they make at Calgary Co-op Home Health Care. This includes having your purchase included as part of the annual patronage return you earn as a Calgary Co-op member. Although you do not need a membership in Calgary Co-op to do business with it, or Calgary Co-op Home Health Care, the cost of a membership is only $1 and provides you with a lifetime of member benefits, including the annual patronage return. As information, the overall patronage return rate to members was 5.07% in 2009. Memberships can be purchased from Calgary Co-op Home Health Care or any Calgary Co-op food centre customer service office.
The Calgary Co-op Home Health Care business on Macleod Trail will serve as our main home health care
facility because of its central location, warehouse space and equipment repair facilities, and will service other Calgary Co-op home health care facilities that will open at Quarry Park and Richmond Road centre locations in the latter part of 2009.
