The 54th Annual General Meeting was held on March 9, 2011, where the results of the election for its board of directors were announced. Stuart Cantrill and Terry Geib were both re-elected to the board of directors for a three year term. Peggy LeSueur was elected for a three year term to replace Barry Ashton who has chosen to retire from the Board after 12 years of dedicated service.
The board of directors also appointed its board officers for 2011-2012. Stuart Cantrill was re-appointed board chair, Terry Geib was re-appointed vice chair and Lisa Wise was re-appointed board secretary.
The proposal from the Board of Directors "seeking membership approval to increase the total purchases a person must make in order to qualify as a candidate for the Board of Directors from $2,400 per year to $3,600" was approved.
