The Canadian Food Inspection Agency (CFIA) and New Food Classics have expanded their warning to include all ground beef products from Establishment 761 that were manufactured between July 1, 2011, and February 15, 2012. The CFIA is warning the public not to consume these products because they may be contaminated with E. coli O157:H7. The manufacturer, New Food Classics, is voluntarily recalling the affected product.
All products affected by the recall have been removed from Calgary Co-op's shelves. Members who have purchased this product can return them to Customer Service at any Calgary Co-op food centre for a full refund.
